Air pressure : 1039.9mb

Temperature : 1.1c

Wind : 1mph (WNW-NW)

Relative humidity : 82%

Rain since 00:01 hours :0mm

Rain this month : 30.4mm

Forecast for today : Temperatures were around -2c overnight and so we will still find patches of frost around this morning leaving some footpaths slippery underfoot.

Temperatures will be higher than yesterday due to a greater amount of cloud cover.  We can expect a top temperature of around 5c.

This morning a small band of rain is passing over us which may bring some light drizzle and even possibly the odd flake of very light snow.  If the rain or snow hasn’t fallen by 09:00 then the cloud will have passed  through our area.

Although there is a greater amount of cloud we will still some odd glimpses of the sun and overall it will be a pleasant day with the breeze remaining light throughout.

As the day passes the cloud will thicken.  This will leave us with a blanket covering and keep temperatures just above freezing overnight.

Summary : Generally warmer than of late top 5c.  A typical January day.
