Temperature : 5.2c

Wind 2mph NNW – N

Wind chill temperature : 4c

Relative humidity : 92%

Rain since 00:01 hours : 0.6mm

Rain this month : 33mm

Forecast : As I previously forecast we are now heading into a period of change weather wise.

The jet stream is looping around the UK (see  image) and dragging in cold winds from the N and NE.  The air pressure has also dropped and the day will have much more of a feel of a winter about it.

Temperatures will still be around average during the day at around 6c but the steady N wind will make things feel a couple of degrees cooler.

During the morning we will have some more scattered showers as rain, currently around Sheffield,  makes it way into our area.  This rain will only be light in nature.

As the day passes the clouds will begin to thin and as we go to bed temperatures will still be around 3-4c but this temperature will drop overnight to around 1c by morning.

Summary : Scattered showers and the start of a cold spell.
