Forecast for today.

With the wind coming from the NE we are set for a cold day.  Top temperatures will not rise above 2c although in the constant breeze it will feel more like 0 to -1c.   The wind is likely to gust a little during the morning and into the early afternoon making it feel even cooler.  The wind pattern is graphically shown by the current jet stream image below.

The rain radar images show very little rain amongst the generally complete cloud cover which indicates we are in for a dry day.  This is supported by the relative humidity figure of 72%.

The morning will be cloudy and as the day passes the cloud looks as if it thins a little to possibly allow us the occasional glimpse of the sun.

With the thinning cloud and low winter sun temperatures overnight will fall to between freezing and -2c.

Summary : A generally cold but dry day.
