WS7 weather report for Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills and all surrounding areas.

Observations made 06;28 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1021.8mb

Temperature : 0.6c

Wind : 1mph SW

Relative humidity : 89%

Rain last 24 hours : 0.2mm

Rain this year : 34.8mm

Forecast for today.

In contrast to the windy last few days today will start off calm and peaceful with only very light winds.  As the day passes by, however, the wind will increase in speed and will be back to around 8-10mph and with the occasional gusts of 25mph by early evening.

You will note when you step outdoors that the temperature is a lot cooler than we have been enjoying and this morning it will only be around 2-3c during rush hour.  We will enjoy long periods of clear sky and plenty of sunshine today and this will help the temperature climb up to 7-8c during the afternoon.

As the day passes into the early evening the cloud cover will increase and this will help maintain temperatures overnight.  Along with the cloud comes the increased risk of rain and we could see the odd drop fall during the early hours of tomorrow.

In summary.

Less windy, dry and bright.
