Temperature : 6.8c
Wind : 5mph SE
Relative humidity : 87%
Rain since 00:01 hour : 0.8mm
Rain this month 39.8mm
Forecast for today:
A large blanket of cloud will remain with us all day and mixed amongst those clouds is an amount of rain. Some radar images suggest that the rain could be heavy and pretty persistent, however, I have expanded them to the maximum and I can see quite a lot of gaps (some for extended periods) when no rain or only light drizzle will fall on our area.
Overall the picture does show the rain moving via our normal west to east weather pattern. Unfortunately it will take almost all day to clear.
At times it will be a little gusty and we could find the odd gust around the mid 20s mph. Nothing that will cause any damage but is just a little more unpleasant if it happens to be raining at the same time.
If you do go out you will need a cap or brolly as the rain could fall at any time.
Summary
Dull, showers or drizzle with the odd gust of wind.
