Forecast for today.
The first thing we will notice today is that it is a a little colder than of late with rush hours temperatures only around 1-2c. Things will not improve greatly as we will enjoy some clear spells this morning which will only allow us to reach a top temperature of around 6c.
On the positive side is that we should enjoy some morning sunshine which could last until early into the afternoon. After this clouds will thicken a little and we will see less bright spells.
With the thicker clouds the little residual heat the sun has helped generated during the day will be maintained and overnight temperature will stay a little warmer than the last couple of days at around 3-4c.
During any part of the day, but in particular the late afternoon , we could see the odd spell of light drizzle, however, I believe it will remain a mostly dry day.
Winds will remain light and for the main from a SSE direction.
In summary.
Mostly dry and bright.
