Forecast for today.
Many of you will have been woken up by the sound of rainfall this morning as the large band of rain that I briefly discussed yesterday reached our area.
The good news is that it will not be with us all day and, looking at the current radar images, it should be generally passed us by around 10:30-11:00 hours. I the meantime some of the rainfall could be fairly heavy and, therefore, some local flooding could be possible.
When the rain passes the clouds will thin a little and we may see the odd glimpse of the sun but overall it will remain a predominantly cloudy day.
Temperatures will not raise too far and we can only expect a high of around 5-6c today but the wind will remain light.
Summary.
Damp start, clearing later. Cold top 6c.
