The radar images show that a large band of rain cloud is now almost clear of our area and so we should remain dry for the rest of the day.

The clouds will thin as the day passes to allow some prolonged periods of winter sunshine.  This sunshine and the SW breeze will allow temperatures to rise to around 13c.  This is almost twice the average for the time of year.

With the thin clouds temperatures will fall a little overnight to around 6-7c but overall it will remain pleasant. 

We will maintain a steady SW breeze which may have the occasional gust but nothing that will make conditions difficult or unpleasant.
