Forecast for today.
Today will generally be a day in contrast to the bright sunshine and clear sky that we enjoyed yesterday with cloud increasing as the day passes.
Rain radar images show a large band of rain moving across the country from the SW and it looks as if all parts of England and Wales will receive some rain. This rain will not reach us until the afternoon, however, before then there is a small rain cloud passing over us around 09:00 hours. The images show that the rain in this cloud is quite small and, therefore, should pass us by without any fall but there is an outside risk of some drizzle or light rain.
The rain this afternoon and mid evening could be a little heavier, however, there is a lot of time to go between now and then so I will keep a watch on the images and report any changes via twitter (@WS7weather).
As the day passes the wind speed, light as it is, will reduce. a little although it will remain from a generally SW direction.
With an increased amount of cloud cover the temperatures will not be as high as yesterday but we can expect a high of around 10-11c.
Summary.
Cloud increasing as day passes with some rain later.
