WS7 weather forecast for Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills and all surrounding areas (27/02/2011).

Observations made 08:46 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1019.8mb

Temperature : 3.9c

Wind : 4mph WSW

Relative humidity : 83%

Rain since 00:01 hours : 0mm

Rain this month : 48.8mm

Forecast for today.

The early morning will remain dry, however, a large band of rain is moving across the country from the west to the east (our usual weather pattern).  This first band will reach our area by around 09:30 hours and we could have showers anytime from then until around 13:00 hours.  The showers will be generally light.  There is a possibility of further rain during the afternoon, however, the path is not yet entirely clear on the radar service I subscribe to.   (I will update via twitter).

It will be a cooler day with a top temperature of only 6c and with a steady breeze coming from a generally W direction it could feel a degree cooler than that.

As the day passes the clouds will thin and we will be left with a dry night with temperatures falling to around 3c and even 2c in more rural areas.

Summary.

Cool with showers from the west clearing later.
