Forecast for today.

Today will start on in a similar pattern to the last couple of days with predominantly clear spells and bright spring sunshine.  This sun will allow temperatures to rise to around 14c.

As the day passes we may, however, get a little more cloud than we have had over the last couple of days but this will not detract from what will be another very pleasant day.

You may have noticed that the air pressure is beginning to fall which should indicate a change in our weather pattern but it is not going to happen in any significant way today.

One benefit of the extra cloud later today is that the overnight temperature will stay a little higher than of late and our low should be around 6c.

Any wind that we do get today will be very light and from a NNE direction.  This is due to the jet stream sitting to the north of the UK and forcing cooler air down. The jet stream does not really change position until around Wednesday when it sits across the country.  When this happens we can expect more temperate and possibly some damp weather.

Summary

Dry and bright to start some cloud as the day passes.
