Forecast for today.
After a misty start the remainder of the day will be predominantly grey. Looking at the satellite image shows the majority of Europe covered in a layer of cloud. (satellite image).
With this amount of cloud always comes the risk of rain, however, whilst we may get some drizzle the radar images suggest that the day should be, in the main, dry. My suggestion would be to still take a hat or brolly with you if you are going out.
The wind will remain light and from the NE so it will feel a little cooler in the breeze. Top temperature for today will still be around 8c and the minimum overnight, thanks to our cloud blanket, will only fall to around 4c.
The real weather change still looks as if it is going to be around Wednesday when the low pressure really settles overhead and the jet stream sits across the country. I believe that we should see some more persistent and even possibly heavy rain then.
Summary.
Grey, predominantly dry with only a risk of light rain.
