WS7 weather report for Hammerwich, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills and surrounding areas (30 March 2011).

Observations made 06:22 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1008.7mb

Temperature : 9.4c

Wind : 2 mph (SW)

Relative humidity : 88%

Measured rain since 00:01 : 0mm

Rain this month : 7.2mm

Forecast for today.

Larger more dense rain clouds are moving across the country from the SW.  The next band of rain clouds hits our area around mid morning and looking at the radar density images I think it is inevitable that we will have some rainfall.

Looking further at the radar images it appears tha the majority of the rain “threat” will have passed our area by mid afternoon and thereon we should see a dry day and maybe even the odd glimpse of the sun.

We will notice as the day passes that the wind speed will increase a little and this is due to the tightening of the isobars we discussed yesterday.

Overall it will be a mild day temperature wise with a top of 11c and a low of around 8c.

Summary.

Mild with occasional showers.
