Forecast for today.

We are just sitting on the edge of a ridge of high pressure and this will help keep today a generally bright day.

As the day passes the wind direction will be from a more NW direction and this will bring cool air.  This cool air and at times brisk breeze will help keep temperatures lower than recent days.

We can expect a top temperature of around 11-12c and in  the main it will remain dry, however, there is a possibility of the odd shower when the clouds gather around mid morning.  As the day passes the clouds will disperse and we will have plenty of sunshine albeit some it may be hazy.

Overnight cloud will begin to move back into our area and this will help maintain temperatures to around 5c.  The increased cloud will, however, bring the threat of more inclement weather. I will be able to report on this more accurately tomorrow.

Today the sun will set at 19:59 hours and so we are only a day away from breaking the 20:00 hours barrier.  It is so good to come home in the light and have a few minutes in the garden before the sunsets.

Summary.

Generally, dry and bright but cooler than of late.  Outside chance of rain.
