Observations made 06:20 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Temperature : 7.6c

Relative humidity : 83%

Rain last 24 hours : 0mm

Forecast for today.

A generally cloudy and at times dull grey day.  We will get the odd glimpse of the sun from time to time but the overall picture is one of flat and grey stratus or nimbostratus cloud.

Temperatures will reach a peak of around 12-13c and we will see a minimum, overnight, of around 8c.  This is once again a feature of the cloud blanket keeping in the earth’s residual heat.

There is the possibility with some of the thicker clouds that we could get some light rain or drizzle.

Looking ahead at the pressure charts I can see some high pressure heading our way for the weekend and this indicates a sign of improvement and the opportunity for some outdoor activity.

Summary.

Generally grey day with occasional sun and the chance of drizzle.
