Forecast for today.

The day will start off with low fairly dense cloud.  As the morning passes this will become more fractured and will allow us to see some bright sunshine.

Top temperature today will be a pleasant 16-17c.  This is above the average high of around 13c.  More significant is the lack of rainfall for the time of year.  Whatever happened to April showers?  The average rainfall for our area during April is 64.6mm, however, to date we have only had 3.4mm.  This is a very similar pattern to last year when we had a 20 day period without rain.

Back to today. The wind may pick up a little and will come from a generally easterly direction.  During the afternoon the average speed will be a gently 8-10 mph.

Overnight the temperature will fall to around 8c.

Summary.

A dry day will some sunny spells through fractured cloud.
