Temperature : 8.8c
Wind : 4mph NE
Relative humidity : 78%
Rain this month : 3.4mm
Forecast for today.
Firstly, can I take this opportunity to wish @JTDP23 (Hawksie) all the very best at his 2pm wedding today.
Hawksie and all of us will enjoy a bright day today after the early morning cloud is burnt away. This will take until around mid morning. After this we will see plenty of bright sunshine and a clear sky.
Top temperatures will reach around 17-18c, however, the only negative will be the fairly constant NE breze which, at times, may be quite blustery. The average wind speed will be around 12-15mph with gusts reaching twice that speed.
Overnight, with the lack of cloud cover the temperature will fall to around 5-6c. Again, care needs to be taken with young or tender plants.
A noticeable feature of the month has been the small amount of rain that has fallen. In Hammerwich I have only measured 3.4mm which is a fraction of what we should expect for this time of year (around 50mm).
Summary.
Mostly dry and bright after a cloudy start.
