Forecast for today.

Today will be mostly cloudy and, after looking at the radar images, we will not get many opportunities to see the sun.

The constant cloud cover will keep temperatures down and our top temperature will only be around 12c during the daytime.  One benefit of the cloud cover, however, is that the night-time temperature will remain higher than that of late and we can expect a low of around 9c.

The radar images also show that some rain carrying clouds are moving into our area around 10:00 and these will be with us for around 4 hours.  This does not mean we will necessarily have rain throughout (or at all) as the cloud density is mainly light, however, the chance of drizzle and or a light shower is possible.   The further north you travel the more likely is you will experience some rain today.  In the main it will be a dry but cool day for our area.

One feature that will help keep the temperature feeling cool will be a breeze of  around 6mph from the W-NW.  As the day passes the breeze will strengthen and we could have gusts at 15-20mph later.

Summary

A grey, cool but for the majority a dry day.
