Forecast for today.

The day will start off with some hazy sunshine but, as the morning passes, the clouds will fragment to allow us to see some glimpses of the sun.  At times it will be a bright day.  This brightness will bring a top temperature of around 15-16c, however, the wind will be lighter than of late and so it could feel quite pleasant.  The wind will come from a predominantly westerly direction and the average speed will be around 2-3mph.

Tonight the temperature will drop to around 6c which will be similar to last night.

Looking ahead to the weekend the jet stream is beginning to move position and this generally indicates some change is ahead.  I will be able to give you a better indication of how the changes will manifest themselves tomorrow.

Summary

Mostly dry with some bright spells.
