WS7 weather report for Hammerwich, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills and surrounding areas (14 June 2011).

Observations made 06:29 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure: 1018mb

Temperature : 10.9c

Wind : calm

Relative humidity : 84%

Rain since 00:01 hours : 0mm

Forecast for today.

The jet stream remains firmly to the north of us and this will allow warmer air to reach us from the south.  The air pressure is rising and the radar images show that the sky, in the main, will be either cloud free or covered with very thin or fragmented cloud.

All this adds up to a most pleasant day!  Our top temperature should rise to around 21c and no rain is likely.  Overnight the cloud cover will thicken and this will keep temperatures a little warmer.  Our overnight low will be around 13c.

There will be very little wind today and what does blow will be from a SW direction.

Changes are still coming our way later in the week so make the most of this most pleasant day.

Summary.

A bright and pleasant day.
