WS7 weather report for Hammerwich, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills, Bloxwich and surrounding areas (29 June 2011).

Observations made 06:34 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1020mb

Temperature : 9.8c

Wind : 3mph SW

Relative humidity : 80%

Rain since 00:01 hours : 0mm

Forecast for today.

We will all wake up to a bright and sunny morning.  There are few clouds in the sky and the wind is light. The lack of clouds allowed temperatures to drop down to 7c overnight which was in stark contrast to the overnight figures we achieved a couple of days ago (overnight low 16c).

As the day passes clouds will begin to thicken a little and this might bring the odd localised light shower, but in the main, it will be a dry and mostly bright day.  The jet stream is sitting below the UK and this means that temperatures will be reduced by the influence of the northerly climate.  Our top temperature today will be around 16-17c.  Overnight the cloud cover will clear and our overnight low will fall to around 8c.

Summary

Bright start a little more cloud later.
