Forecast for today.

Another day dominated by cloud and a cooling northerly breeze is in store for us today.  The jet stream continues to run below the southern parts of the UK and this  allows us to be dominated by a more northern climate.

We will see the occasional bright spell as the clouds thin of fragment but this will not help temperatures climb much above 18c.  On the reverse side the clouds will keep the residual heat in overnight and or low will be around 11c.

The breeze will be from a predominantly northern direction all day although the breeze will only be light.

With all of the cloud comes the risk of a localised shower but all of the radar images suggest that we should remain dry in our area all day.

Summary.

Cloudy and cooler than yesterday.
