WS7 weather report for Hammerwich, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills, Bloxwich and surrounding areas (22 July 2011).

Observations made 06:23 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1018mb

Temperature : 12c

Wind : calm

Relative humidity : 74%

Rain since 00:01 hours : 0mm

Forecast for today.

If you look up to the sky this morning you will see that the cloud cover is a little thinner and in parts more fragmented than yesterday. This will allow us to have some brighter spells during the day.

The rain radar images show some light rain moving generally in the Birmingham / Sutton Coldfield area first thing this morning but there is some low density rain cloud over us between 08:00 and 10:00 hours.  I would expect some light rain / drizzle sometime during this time slot. Any shower we do get will be fairly short-lived and it will be a mostly dry day overall.

As the day passes the risk of rain returns this evening.   I also suspect the cricket in London could be disrupted this afternoon.

The wind will be relatively light today and any breeze will come generally from the NW.

Our top temperature will be around 16c (low for this time of year) and our overnight low around 10c.

Summary.

Mostly dry with the occasional brighter spells and the risk of light showers this morning. Rain returning this evening.
