Temperature : 9.9c

Relative humidity : 89%

Rain since 00:01 hours : 12.8mm

Forecast for today.

After heavy overnight rain (12.8mm) the cloud cover still remains this morning and we will venture out to a grey but calm morning.

The radar images show that all but a few wisps of rain cloud have now passed our area for the time being and whilst we may still get the odd drop of rain however, in the main, the morning should now remain dry.

The clouds will thin over the course of the morning / early afternoon and we will get to see some bright spells .  Daytime temperatures will reach a maximum of around 18c.  Our overnight low will be around 11-12c.

The radar forecast imagery currently shows a small risk of rain later tonight but I will have to monitor the real time imagery nearer the time to see if our area is affected.  The likelihood is that we have seen all of the rain we are going to for today.

Summary.

Dull start getting brighter later.
