Observations made 06:35 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1027mb

Temperature : 12.4c

Relative humidity : 88%

Forecast for today

The jet stream is now sitting above the country and this is allowing a milder climate to come to the UK and, more importantly, our area.

The relative humidity is at 88% this morning and this could lead to some patches of mist as you travel around first thing early on.  I do not, however, expect any rain.

During the day we will see plenty of cloud and only the occasional glimpse of the sun.  Our top temperature will only rise to around 15-16c.

There will be very little breeze today and the wind direction will be firstly from the NE eventually moving towards the E. Overnight temperatures will only drop a few degrees to around 10-11c.

Summary.

Dry, mild but generally cloudy.
