WS7 weather report for Hammerwich, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills, Bloxwich and surrounding areas (20 October 2011)

Observations made 06:39 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire

Air pressure : 1026mb

Temperature : 3.5c

Wind : 2mph WSW

Relative humidity : 88%

Rain last 24 hours : 0.8mm

Forecast for today.

After a damp start any threat from the remaining rain clouds will pass by around 10:30 hours.  We will then be left with some breaks in the clouds that will allow some sun to shine through.

Our top temperature will not, however, climb much above single figures (if we are lucky we might make 10c).

As the day passes the cloud cover will increase and overnight the temperature will only fall a couple of degrees or so from the day time high.  I expect our low will be around 7c.

Winds will also be much lighter today with the average speed around 5mph and from a WSW direction.

Summary.

Early dampness clearing to some brighter spells. Cloudy later.
