Forecast for today.
The air pressure is beginning to drop and this usually indicates more inclement weather is on the way. Today, however, will be mostly cloudy with the odd glimpse of some autumn sunshine.
Our top temperature will be around 17-18c and our low will only fall to around 10c tonight. The current imagery does not lead me to believe that we will have any rain today.
The pressure charts show a considerable drop in air pressure over the next couple of days and around Tuesday the air pressure will be around the 995mb mark. When the pressure falls by this amount we can expect some wet and windy conditions. The wind being most prevalent on the days leading up to the rainy day.
Today will also have some breezy spells and some of these could be gusty. During the day we can expect some gusts up to 25mph. The wind will eventually come from the SE.
Summary
A cloudy but dry day.
