Forecast for today.

Rain is falling to the west of us but  looking at the radar images and forecast models it looks as if this will not reach us during daylight hours.  We can, however, expect some rain later this evening.

The rest of the day will be quite pleasant.  The cloud cover will fragment and break up to allow some sun to shine thorough. This sunshine will allow temperatures to reach around 16c.  Overnight, when the rain moves to our area, the temperature will fall to around 11c.

The wind today will be from the ESE – SE direction and will, at times, be gusty. Top speeds could be around 30mph but the average speed will only be around 10mph.

Summary

Mostly dry with some bright spells.  Rain moving in to the area later tonight.
