Forecast for today.

Today is not a day for travelling out without your hat or umbrella as we are likely to see rain showers at any time during the daylight hours.

The current radar image show a large band of rain carrying cloud moving across our area.  The density imagery shows that the current cloud cover is generally not too heavily laden, however, there are some patches that will pass our way later in the day that could bring us some heavier rain.

With the leaves falling and the footpaths and roads wet care should be taken when travelling as the surface could be slippery.

From around 18:00 the risk of rain will reduce and we will be just left with cloud cover.

With all of the cloud cover our top temperature will just about reach 11c and overnight the low will fall to around 7c.

The winds today will be light and from the E-SE.

Summary.

Rain showers during daylight hours dry later.
