WS7 weather report for Hammerwich, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills, Bloxwich and surrounding areas (15 November 2011)

Observations made 06:36 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1020mb

Temperature : 7.6c

Wind : 3mph E

Relative humidity : 87%

Rain last 24 hours : 0mm

Forecast for today.

Although the air pressure has dropped a little we are still in for another dry day.  The radar images show that there are a few breaks in the clouds during the day and this will allow for a little brighter day compared to yesterday’s totally grey day. Overall though the day will be predominantly cloudy.

The wind will maintain a steady breeze from the east with an average of around 6mph.

The pressure charts shows a cooler front bringing some rain moving towards the UK from the west.  This will take a day or so to reach us but I will keep a watching eye on its progress and development.

The day will feel and also be cool today with a top temperature of around 9c and an overnight low of around 5-6c.

Summary

Dry and cloudy with some brighter spells.
