Observations made 06:35 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1014mb

Temperature : 11.8c

Wind : 4mph SW

Relative humidity : 82%

Rain last 24 hours : 0mm

Forecast for today.

The radar images are currently showing rain clouds to the west of us.  There is, however, one patch of rain carrying cloud passing across our area around 08:00 to 09:00 hours.  The radar images show this cloud to be light in density but there is a chance that it may bring us some drizzle in some areas.

Other than this early risk the clouds will still be present but not enough to stop some brighter spells. Couple this with a generally southerly breeze and we are in for a mild day.  The top temperature will be up to 14c and our overnight low will be 8c.

The isobars are fairly tightly packed and this means that the breeze will be a little stronger than of late. The average wind speed will be around 6mph with gusts up to 15mph.

Summary

A generally dry and mild day with some bright spells.
