Forecast for today.

After overnight rain the early morning will be mostly bright but as we head towards midday a band of cloud is moving down from the NW across our area.

This cloud could bring some rain to our area although the showers could be isolated.  Once the cloud passes we will see some brighter spells again late afternoon.

Our top temperature today will be around 9c and overnight the low will fall to around 6c.

As per yesterday a feature of the day will be the constant breeze that will average a speed of around 8mph with gusts of around 25 mph.  The breeze will start off from the SW and gradually move towards the W.

This time last year we were heading in out first cold spell and the temperature at 06:32 hours was -o.7 with a top of around 3c.  How things in the weather world can change!

Summary

Dry start, cloud increasing as the morning passes which may bring a threat of rain. Brighter spells later.
