Forecast for today.

The breeze will again be a feature of the day and it will remain with us throughout the day.  We can expect average wind speeds of around 8mph and gusts up to 30mph. The wind will continue to be from a generally S direction.

During the morning we will see some brighter spells but as the day passes the cloud cover will increase.  This will help keep some residual warmth in overnight. Our daytime high will be around average for the time of year at 9c and our low will fall to around 4-5c.

The radar imagery and forecast models show rain moving into our area late this evening / during the early hours of tomorrow. Some of this rain could be heavy.

Summary

Some bright spells during the morning but breezy.  Increasing cloud will bring rain overnight.
