Temperature : 5.3c (Wind chill 3.7c)

Wind : 7mph W-WNW

Forecast for today.

The majority of the heavy overnight rain has now passed and the larger part of the day will be dry with the occasional bright spell.  There are a few rogue clouds blowing our way down from the NW and some of these could pose a threat of rain during the morning.  If we were unlucky enough to have one pass over it our area then any rain we did get would be short lived and isolated.

The wind will eventually shift from the NW to a one of a more southerly direction and this will bring milder air to our area.  During the day our high will be around 7c but we will see little temperature change overnight.

The radar images do, however, show a large band of rain moving across the UK from W to E.  This will bring rain to our are from around 20:00 hours and then throughout the night and into tomorrow.

Summary.

Mostly dry day but rain moving back in after dark.
