Can I immediately take this opportunity to wish all my readers a very peaceful and healthy Christmas!

Today’s weather will be in complete contrast to a year ago when our top temperature -3c.  Today our top daytime temperature will be around 11c and overnight we will only see a drop by a degree or so.

The prominent feature of the day will be the steady SW breeze which will blow at an average speed of around 10mph with gusts of around 25mph.  This breeze will be with us all day.

There is a small possibility of some drizzle during the late part of the afternoon when the cloud tends to thicken up but overall it will be a dry day.

I hope you all have a great day and that the weather helps you get around and make those important visits to friends and relatives.
