Forecast for today.

As you look out of the window today you will plenty of cloud and even a little mist.  Whilst the mist will clear as the day passes the cloud will be with us for the majority of the time. We may, however, see some occasional brighter spells, however, it all depends if the clouds, which will fragment and thin; breaks up whilst over our patch.

Again, due to the closeness of the isobars, we are in for a breezy day with average wind speeds of around 15mph and gusts up to 30mph.  The wind will maintain a direction from the SW throughout.

The temperatures will continue to be mild with a high of 13c.  It will cool a little during the afternoon to around 10c as the clouds thin but it will continue to be mild.

There is a change in the next few days and we can see from the pressure charts that a “swirl” of low pressure is heading to the northern parts of the UK later in the week.  This will bring us rain around Wednesday pm or Thursday.

Summary.

Remaining mild and breezy.
