Forecast for today.
The overriding prominent feature of today will be the return gf the stronger breeze. You will see that whilst I have been writing this blog we have had a gust of 44mph although the average speed is more likely to be around 15mph with gusts averaging around 30mph. The wind will be blowing from the SW.
The jet stream is currently cutting across the country and, at the moment, we are still enjoying some warmer weather from the south. This, however, is about to change and will bring us more unsettled weather during the rest of the week as we fall into a west to east weather pattern.
This morning there will be some cloud about which will bring rain to our area. As the day passes this cloud will thin to allow some brighter spells. Our top temperature today will be in the early morning at around 9-10c. As the day passes the temperature will fall steadily leaving us a overninght low of around 4c.
Summary.
Windy, rain and cloud early on then getting brighter but also cooler than of late.
