Forecast for today.

The isobars remain tightly spaced today and that means we are in for another breezy day. The wind will average a speed of around 15mph and the gusts will be up to 40mph.  Throughout the day the wind will blow from a WSW to  WNW direction.

With a W-E weather patter usually comes some precipitation and today will be no exception.  We have already had some overnight rainfall and throughout the daylight hours we can expect to see some sporadic rain showers.

The jet stream is still “blocking” the northern climate from dominating our area and we will, therefore, still have some mild temperatures for the time of year.  Our high today will be around 7c and our overnight low will be around 3c.  With the wind blowing we can expect our daytime high to feel at least a couple of degrees cooler than the thermometer tells us.

Summary.

Breezy with occasional showers.
