Temperature : 4.8c

Wind : 4mph WSW-SW

Relative humidity : 83%

Rain last 24 hours : 3.2mm

Forecast for today.

We are in the middle of a change in the weather pattern and so today will reflect this position by being – changeable.

Over the next 36-48 hours the jet stream will move from a prominent position across the norther parts of the UK.  This jet stream positioning allowed us to enjoy some mild air from the south.  The position isn’t going to change tremendously but will slightly weaken. By Sunday and Monday you will notice that the temperature will drop a little as the more northern winds and climate are allowed into our region.

Today the wind will be a little lighter than the last couple of days but we can still expect average wind speed of around 8mph with gusts of around 15mph.

The radar images are currently showing plenty of rain cloud heading our way and we should expect rain, some of which could be moderately heavy, at times throughout parts of the day.

As the day passes and the cloud cover increases our temperature will increase a little and our top temperature will be around 8c.  This will not fall by more than a degree or so overnight.

Summary.

Cloudy with rain at times.
