Temperature : 9.9c

Forecast for today.

We will all wake to another mild February day. This time last year our top temperature was around 6c whilst today we should reach around 14c!

There will still be plenty of cloud around all day to obscure the winter sun, however, this cloud cover will also help to keep in some of the residual heat overnight.  Our overnight low only falling to around 8c.

This morning you may come across some misty patches in low lying areas as our dew point is close to the actual temperature and the relative humidity is high.  The perfect recipe for a bit of mist.

Whilst there are no rain clouds evident on the radar images I would not be surprised to feel some dampness in the air and the odd spell of light drizzle.  This is most likely to happen around mid to late afternoon when the temperature begins to cool.

The wind will remain light all day and we can expect a switch of wind direction from the SW towards the W.

Summary.

Mostly cloudy but mild.
