Forecast for today.

With very little breeze, low temperatures and a dew point within 0.5c of the actual temperature we can expect some early mist around this morning.

The jet stream is now completely looping the UK (see image below) and this is creating an easterly breeze to form.  This will be light to start off the day but will increase a little in speed as the day passes.  We should expect average wind speeds of around 8 mph.  The benefit of this jetstream postion, however, is some good clear spells!

After the early mist and light cloud we will see plenty of sunshine.  Our top temperature will rise to around 15c.  Much of the time, throughout the night, the sky will also remain cloud free which should be good news for the astronomers.  Temperatures overnight will fall to a low of around 5c.

Summary

A dry and bright day.
