Forecast for today.

Once again with the dew point so close to the actual temperature the morning ride, walk or drive to work or school will be a misty one. As you would expect the air will feel damp but it will not turn to rain.

Once the temperatures begin to warm up the mist will “burn” away and we will be left with another dry and generally bright day.  During the morning there will be some cloud about but this will also dissipate as the day passes leaving us with a clear sky overnight.

Temperatures will be very mild once again today and we will reach a maximum of around 15c-16c by early afternoon.  Overnight, with the clear sky, temperatures will fall to about 6c.

During the day winds will remain light at an average speed of around 5mph.  The wind direction will be generally from the East.

The GFS chart indicates that the high pressure will remain with us right through the weekend and for the majority of next week so it is a good time to make plans for those extended trips out.

Summary.

Becoming a dry and pleasant day after some early mist.
