Forecast for today.

After some late evening / early morning rain we are greeted by early morning brightness through broken cloud.  This will be the pattern for much of the day.

The heavy rain cloud is now moving away from our area and is leaving the UK via the NE area.  This will leave us some cloud which will fragment from to time to bring us some pleasant sunshine. This will help lift our top temperature up to 13-14c.

When we move towards late evening a low pressure system, currently out the SW, will move across the country reaching us by late evening / early morning  This system will bring us some rain.  The heaviest downpours, however, will not be until tommorow during the day.

The wind today will be from the SW with an average speed of around 5-7mph.

Summary

Cloud fragmenting at times to bring brighter spells. A mostly dry day.
