High pressure remains for us for almost the entire day and this will bring us another pleasant day.
The weather systems, however, are about to change and a low pressure system is about to enter the UK from the north. The rain within the system will, however, not reach us until late in the evening or early morning. We can, therefore, set our stall out to enjoy some time outdoors today.
A bye product of the low pressure system will be increased cloud cover and a steady breeze. The cloud will increase as the day passes but the SW – WSW breeze will be with us for the majority of the day. The wind speed will average around 8mph and gusts will reach around 30mph.
It will be a warm day and our top temperature will be around 14c. This will, however, be tempered a little by the breeze. Overnight the low will fall to around 5c.
Sadly, our astronomers will not have much of an opportunity to view the night’s sky due to the increasing cloud cover.
