Forecast for today.

After all of the drama with yesterday’s weather I am pleased to report that today will be a much calmer affair.

Firstly, the day will start off bright albeit a little cool.  During the morning we will see some bright and sunny spells.  These sunny spells will cause some cloud to form late morning and, during the afternoon, these clouds may bring the odd isolated and localised shower.

The wind will again return to a WNW-NW direction due to the jet stream position and this will bring a chill to the air when you are not in the direct sun.  The average wind speed today will be around 6mph.

After dark the clouds will begin to break up and we will be left with a clear sky overnight.  This will allow temperatures to fall to 2c in some parts.  Great care need to be taken with young and tender plants tonight.

Summary

Bright spells during the morning turning cloudy later.
