Forecast for today.

After a cloudy but mild night when our minimum temperature only fell to a low of 6.3c at 04:32 hours we will begin to see some signs of improvement in the weather today.

The clouds will still be prominent but will fragment occasionally for us to see some sunshine and this heralds the beginning of a better few days for us this week.  As the week passes we will see even more improvement.

Despite the cloud cover the day will be mostly dry with only the chance of some light drizzle this morning.

Our daytime temperature will be near or slightly above average for the month at around 16c.  Winds will be light albeit from the NW.  Overnight the low will fall to around 9c.

This overall improvement  is due to the low pressure that is currently over Ireland at the moment getting squeezed out by a high pressure system from the south and east.

Summary.

Cloudy but mild -some brighter spells.
