Forecast for today.
After the early cloud burns away this will be another warm and generally sunny day.
Our top temperature today will be similar to yesterday at around 24-25c. Overnight the low will fall to around 12c. A feature of today, but particularly this morning, will be the high humidity which make the overall “feel” of things a little more uncomfortable.
As the afternoon passes we will see some cloud gather and this could lead to some localised rain. This, like yesterday, is unlikely but possible. For instance 4mm of rain fell in parts of Yorkshire yesterday following the hot spell.
Our astronomers will be able to enjoy a mainly clear sky late tonight and gardeners will not have to protect their plants tonight from the cold.
The wind will remain light all day and it will be blowing, in our area, from the SW.
Summary
A dry and bright day after some early cloud.
