Another day of bright spells and some cloud but, sadly, all the signs are there to show that the weather is about to change.
Today we will reach a very pleasant temperature of around 17c during the day and overnight the low will only fall to around 9c. Like yesterday we may see the odd spot of rain as the clouds increase in density. As usual with a W to E weather system our risk of rain increases late afternoon / early evening.
The wind will be blowing from a northerly direction to start off the day and this will have bit of a chill to it in the shade. As the day passes the wind direction will shift towards the ESE. The average wind speed will be around 5mph.
This is one of the changes we should be looking for. The wind direction is changing because of a low pressure system created by the jet stream out to the SW of us. This system will move towards the UK as the day passes. This will eventually bring us rain overnight and through parts of tomorrow.
