Forecast for today

As you step out today you will soon realise that today is a bit breezy.  The average wind speed will be around 10-12mph and gusts will reach around 25-30mph.  The wind will be blowing from the SW.

The radar images show that more rain will reach our area just before drive time this morning and will then revisit us from time to time throughout the day.  Our area will not see the heaviest of the rain in the UK as this will fall to the NW and W of us.  Rain will, however, remain a threat to us until late evening.

There will be little chance for any sun to shine through a blanket of cloud and this will restrict our top temperature today to around 14c.  Overnight the temperature will fall to around 10c.

Summary

A breezy and, at times, wet day.
