Forecast 13 July 2012
After yesterday’s brief return of the sun we will return today to the now familiar pattern of cloud and showers.
The GFS model shows that bands of rain are running across our area for the majority of the day. This does not mean that we will have rain throughout but it does mean that we will see plenty of showers. Some of the showers could be heavy.
Our top temperature will be around 16c and the low overnight will be around 10c. (Last night the low was 12.8c).
The wind will be blowing from the NE-ENE at an average speed of around 5-6mph. Wind from the NE is generally cool.
I have been asked about the weather over the weekend and, in particular, for the Shakespeare in the Park event being held in Lichfield. Sadly, the weather looks like it could be a little damp on Saturday, however, the picture looks a lot brighter for Sunday.
